About the Customer 

The customer is a leading essential infrastructure services provider that makes infrastructure
work for communities across Australia and New Zealand. DIN Engineering has upheld a
continuous association with the client for a considerable duration of 7+ years.

Business Challenge 

For the proposed changes on a site, the client required assistance in preparing their As builts to
update according to latest situation. Major changes need to done on site plan, antenna
elevations and other cascading sheets. Client required As built conversions for Australia
Telecom Giant using AutoCAD 2D software and based on the client’s initial files and markups.

They required 25 drawings per month with 24 Hours turnaround for each drawing. Project was
part of Telecom Maintenance work and require skills in Site Planning Solutions and As Built
Preparations.

Solution

DIN Engineering align specific engineers and assist the customer to update redlines in AutoCAD
environment within Timeline specified by client. Prepare repository of frequent
changes/standard checklist which user can take reference for working on different location of
site drawings. Specific check points have been added based on provided guidelines and were
used to perform quality checks and meet customer specifications. We have setup a dedicated
team working on multiple project categories.

Outcome

1. DIN played a crucial role in processing numerous locations with an optimal quality rate of over 92% in the past six months.
2. Efficient Telecom planning and maintenance activities enhances productivity of the project group at Client side.
